Houston with the boys

Drove down to Houston on April 16 to hang out with the boys, and also to have some KFC :P Arrived pretty late at night, 11pm, and was so exhausted. Shirish and Jose got to Igor's apartment just before 12 and we started drinking and it was all fun fun and fun :)

Shirish started playing his Indian music and Jose his salsa latin stuff.. lol..
We stayed up very late, Jose and I woke up pretty early, I wanted to study and Jose wanted soup for the hang over. So we went to Panera for soup and then we ordered to go some Thai food. Jose then went to sleep again and Shirish after the soup went to sleep. So it was just Igor and me watching TV and waiting for them to wake up the whole day was gone!!!

In the evening, we went out to eat at a famous Mexican restaurant, forgot the name but the food was pretty good and the queue was LONG. We had to wait about 30 mins and while waiting I had a magarita :D After dinner, we went home to watch some TV.

Jose had to meet his male friend at a gay bar and I went along with him, we dropped Igor and Shirish off to a pub called Gingerbread Man. The gay bar was more like a gay club. Lots of gorgeous men in there, and many of them had their top off, showing off their killer abs, although there were fat ones with big gut jutting out haha.. but it was a proper and decent club nonetheless. There were men in tight Speedos on a small stage at a corner, where they'd take dance requests and men can touch them on the chest and legs etc and slip them dollar notes into their Speedos. On Saturday, we decided to go to Kemah, a small tourist attraction by the beach with some rides, and restaurants.

It was a cloudy and cool day so wasn't exactly beach temperature. Igor was moody because he did not like commercial stuff and Shirish was also moody because it was cloudy and rainy and it made him nostalgic, emo time.. Jose played one of those horse racing games and won me a Sponge Bob toy :D He was the only grown men, the rest of them were little girls with their mothers, and Igor was cheering him Jose on and he went, yeah, Jose, beat those little ...... and realized he should not tell Jose to beat little girls' ass.. haha.. We dropped by to Jose's place after Kemah, took my car to a car wash coz it got sooo dirty on the way down to Houston, I swear I had 10 bird droppings all happened while my car was in motion, at 70mph. How did that ever happen? Sat night, Jose went to the gay club which by the way is called South Beach :) Shirish wanted to stay home and chill out, I kinda wanted to go out and I thought Igor too but since Shirish didn't want to go, I didn't mind just hanging out at home. We talked till late again and the next morning, woke up at 11am, Jose went out to get some special flour to make a kind of south american bread for us as breakfast.

Shirish had a 3:30 flight so he had to leave at 2pm and as we were all getting ready, I told Igor that I would leave with Jose and Shirish and he was kinda upset.. but I guess not too much, nothing ever gets to him! All in all, I had a pretty good time during this trip :)

My first date with Jeffrey

I got home on Friday night and was surprised to see that Jeffrey had sent me a message on Facebook telling me about the game. We had been emailing each other back and forth on Facebook but had never gone beyond that. We tried to meet a few times but it just never materialized.

For some reasons, I was really keen on going to see the game so we arranged to meet at TCU, he did not offer to pick me up but he did offer to meet me somewhere and pick me up to go to TCU. Anyway, I ended up driving all the way to TCU and met with him near the stadium and hopped into his truck. When we got to the parking lot, I noticed that they had their own bay reserved under the family's name. He told me they got that for donating to the school. Hmm...

It was kinda awkward when I got into his truck, but once we got to the stadium, things got better, we shared a bottle of wine outside the stadium, a lot of people were tailgating and he bumped into an older man in his early 60s who introduced himself to me with his last name, like, "hi, I'm Scott Feurgerson".. and I started to ask myself, so Jeffrey was not kidding when he told me that the place was a hang out for high society people!

It rained pretty much the whole time we were there, he invited another 2 friends, a couple, Brent and Meredith. The game was pretty OK, I was not paying too much attention coz it was raining pretty hard on and off, and I could not understand most of what was happening although things started to make more sense after Jeffrey explained a few things to me. TCU beat Stanford 30-24, at least that was what I thought the score was.

We then went to Railhead, to have some BBQ, the ribs were very good!! Jeffrey then invited me to his house to hang out and to take a nap. So under the influence of Shiraz and the cool rainy weather, that sounded like a pretty good idea and so I took up the invite. The next thing I knew, he was giving me one the of best shoulder massages I had ever had in my life... hahahaha

So... the question in the mind of all you girls is did we do it?? hahahaha... let me just say that I walked past that KFC many times, looked at the crispy skin, enjoyed the aroma, but I did not eat it :)
